Itinerary

Day 1Arrival

Egypt Trip Packages offers 14 Nights adventure package to Egypt. Our representative will meet you in the airport then you will be transferred by a private A/C car to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 2Cairo & Giza

After breakfast, you will join your private tour guide to visit :

Giza Pyramids:
The Great Pyramids of Giza were built on the Fourth Dynasty around 2560 B.C. The complex consists of 3 large pyramids and 6 small ones in addition to the great Sphinx and the Valley Temple.
The Great Pyramid:
The oldest monument on the list of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. It is also the only one left standing and the largest of all of them.

The Great Sphinx:
The largest surviving sculpture from the ancient world, measuring 73.5m in length and 20m in height. It dates back to king Chephren the owner of the 2nd pyramid.

The Valley Temple:
Located next to the Sphinx. This temple is an excellent state of preservation, having been buried by desert sand until the 19th century. It could have been used for the mummification process.

Lunch will be served at pyramids / Nile view restaurant then you will be escorted to visit the Egyptian Museum:

One of the main centers for the study of ancient Egyptian art, it contains the richest collection of remains of the art and culture of ancient Egypt, including finds from the tomb of the young Pharaoh Tutankhamen as well as the Greatest Pharaoh Ramses II. Overnight in Cairo

Day 3Bahariya

Breakfast at hotel, check out from your hotel in Cairo, met by our representative and then travel by a modern air conditioned vehicle to Bahariya Oasis about 4 hours drive from Cairo. Upon arrival, enjoy local tour to the hill top ruin the English House. Then transfer to see Museum of Golden Mummies, Tombs of the Nobles, Alexander Temple, and Temple of Ain Meffetla. Back to your hotel and overnight in Bahariya.

Day 4White & Black Deserts

After Breakfast, move to the White Desert passing through the Black Desert and the El Haize Villagewith its natural spring. Stop off to see the Crystal Mountain and the volcanic rocks and petrified wood in the Valley of Agabat. Upon arrival at the White Desert, tour to the amazing rock formations, watch the sunset and camp under the stars in this paradise of tranquillity. Bedouin dinner in the desert. Overnight in a camp.

Day 5Farafra

Breakfast, then drive to Farafra Oasis where you can enjoy Bir Setah hot spring as well as local artistBadr’s unique mud brick museum. Drive from Farafra to Dakhla for about 3 hours to see the Roman Temple Deir El Hagar in its serene surroundings and the Roman burial ground Mezzawaqqa. Then pay a visit to Islamic Village of Al Qasr, about 35km from Mut, houses ruins of an Ayubid mosque. Overnight in Dakhla.

Day 6Kharga

After breakfast move onto Kharga Oasis to visit Qasr El Labkha – a Roman fortress on the old caravan route, and the oasis’ ethnic museum. After that visit the Roman Temple of Hibis & Nadora from outside as well as the early Christian cemetery with its chapels painted with murals at Bagawat, nearby. Move onto the Temple of Dush, dedicated to Isis and Serapis. Overnight camping in Kharga.

Day 7 Luxor

After breakfast, you will be transferred by vehicle to Luxor; it takes about 6 hours drive. Overnight in Luxor.

Day 8Embarkation

After breakfast, transfer to embark your 5 star Egypt Nile cruise to check in. After lunch on board, enjoy a visit to

Luxor Temples :

It was constructed approximately 1400 BC, the temple has been used as a place of festivals. During the Christian era, the temple’s hypostyle hall was converted into a Christian church. The temple was buried beneath the streets and houses of Luxor.

Karnak Temples :

Dates from around 2055 BC to around 100 AD and this is The largest religious building ever constructed covering about 200 acres and was a place of pilgrimage for nearly 2,000 years.

The Hypostyle Hall, measures 54,000 square feet and featuring 134 columns, is still the largest room of any religious building in the world.

Day 9Luxor

After breakfast on your Nile cruise, join your tour guide to visit the West bank of Luxor:

Valley of the Kings:

The valley became a royal burial ground for Pharaohs such as Tutankhamun, Seti I, and Ramses II, as well as queens & high priests.
The inscriptions on the tombs shows the preparations for the next world, in which Pharaohs were expected to become one with the gods. The tombs were also well stocked with all the material goods a ruler might need in the next world. You will visit 3 tombs excluding Tutankhamen.
Continue the tour to visit Hatshepsut temple:
It took 15 years to be completed; this is one of the most beautiful royal mortuary temples. The three terraces style were different. The temple has gardens of frankincense trees and other rare plantings brought from Punt. The relief sculpture recites the tale of the divine birth of a female Pharaoh.

Colossi of Memnon :

Two gigantic statues, 23 meter (75 ft) high, one thousand ton statues are the only remains of a mortuary temple built by Amenhotep III in the 18th Dynasty.

Day 10Edfu - Kom Ombo

Breakfast on board, then join your tour guide to visit

Edfu Temple:
It is one of the best preserved temples in Egypt. It was built in the Ptolemaic period between 237 and 57 BC. The temple dedicated to the falcon god Horus. The inscriptions on its walls record the Sacred Drama which related the age-old conflict between Horus and Seth.

Continue Sailing to Kom Ombo and visit Kom Ombo Temple:
It was constructed during the Ptolemaic dynasty, 180-47 BC. It is unique because its ‘double’ design meant that there were 2 entrances, courts, halls, sanctuaries for two different gods. The southern half of the temple was dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek, god of fertility and the northern part of the temple was dedicated to the falcon god Haroeris, god of protection.

Day 11Aswan

After breakfast on Nile cruise, enjoy a day’s sightseeing in Aswan. Start with the The High Dam :

Built across the Nile at Aswan. The High Dam was constructed between 1960 and 1970, and has had a significant effect on the economy and culture of Egypt.

The Unfinished Obelisk :
It is the largest known ancient obelisk. It was ordered by Hatshepsut (1508–1458 BC), to complement the Lateran Obelisk (which was originally at Karnak, and was later brought to the Lateran Palace in Rome

Philae Temple :

The temple dedicated to goddess Isis; goddess of love. The complex was relocated to nearby Agilkia Island as part of the UNESCO Nubia Campaign project, protecting this and other complexes before the 1970 completion of the Aswan High Dam.

Day 12Disembarkation

Disembarkation after breakfast. Free time at leisure in Aswan on your own Or Optional Tour to visit Abu Simbel Tour from Aswan by Land. Transfer to Aswan train station for departure to Cairo by sleeper train. Dinner and overnight on train.

Day 13Cairo

Breakfast aboard the train and then arrive Giza train station. Meet and assist by your tour manager and transfer to your hotel. Free day in Cairo. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 14Cairo

Pay a visit to Old Cairo
Then proceed to Old Cairo to visit :

Amr Ibn Alas Mosque :
The oldest mosque to be built not only in Egypt but also all over Africa, it dates back to 642 A.D. Due to extensive reconstruction over the centuries, nothing of the original building remains

Hanging church:
One of the oldest churches in Egypt as it dates back to the 3rd century AD. The church named by the Hanging church because it was built above Babylon Fortress,

Ben Ezra’s Synagogue:
Egypt’s oldest surviving synagogue, dating to the 9th century and housed in a former church constructed in the 4th century. The Copts were forced to sell to pay taxes then Ben Ezra bought it. The famed Geniza Documents, discovered in the synagogue basement.

After that transfer to Khan El Khalily Bazaar:

The oldest and most famous market all over Egypt. It was constructed in 970 AD, the same year as the founding of Cairo. Visitors to Khan El Khalili Bazaar will find themselves transported back in time to a traditional Arab souk.

At the end of the day we will transfer you to the hotel for overnight.
